We all know how it is important today the environmental safeguard. Many inventors have tried to solve this dramatic problem of saving energy, by making many devices, but this one, we are going to show you, is surely one of the most innovative guessed. In fact Mr Tomaselli Vitaliano has created a very useful device, which shield the balcony from the sun-rays, and at the same time it warms (free of charge) the water for domestic use. His innovative curtain is for us a jewel of technology and of fantasy, which, if produced, will save a lot of money to those who will use it. Its functioning is very simple; in fact, this special curtain is made of a weft of aluminium tubes fixed all together with three double nylon rows and with microclamps in parallel, 1 cm far from each other. The tubes, and so the pipefittings, are treated in advance to improve the capture of the sunrays, with a procedure which colours them black. Then they are wrapped, to reduce the loss of warm due to the contact with air, with a cover made of a thin plastic transparent double layer, which makes a sort of special inner tube, improving the coefficient of thermal proofing. By the muffs and the clips, the pipe-fittings are fixed at the extremities of the tubes, in order to make an unique tubular pipe having the shape of a very compact coil, which becomes a black panel (for better catch the sun rays) with a area of 1mq, in the inside of which circulates by force a suitable liquid. In the lower side of the panel it is placed a bar which has at the extremities two fastenings to fix the panel towards the outside of the balcony, in the better position to catch the sun rays. On the back side, which faced the balcony, is fixed a cotton layer, which intercepts the light’s infiltration passing through the interstice of the tubes, catch more warmth transmitted to the panel while shielding the balcony from the sun rays.The special curtain can be re-wind inside a container placed on the wall, which hides and protect the curtain.
