The most used heating system in the houses is undoubtedly the pig iron or aluminium radiator. The heat emanated from the radiator is spread in the surrounding zone but it’s not diffused in the room where the apparatus is; this involves an excessive consumption that could be avoided if radiators were used in all its potentialities. That’s why Idrovent has been designed: it’s an apparatus easy to apply, at a low cost, which transforms common radiators into "thermo-ventilators". This apparatus permits getting a forced circulation of the air improving the temperature exchange, without affecting in any way the consumption of electric energy, since it doesn’t need it to work. This is possible thanks to a turbine moved by the flow of the water which feeds the radiator; so, with the same consumption of energy, we can obtain much more heat spreading. The device is applied to the radiator in a very simple way, as a matter of fact it’s sufficient to connect the Idrovent’s turbine at the exit of the radiator, and at the return duct of the hydraulic plant. In other words, the turbine is inserted, with its own derivation, between the common exit of the water from the radiator and the return duct of the plant.
